Time to add some pictures with my new camera
The past week or so has been, shall I say...INSANE. I got my new camera on Friday, had to learn it by Monday when I had my sessions, Monday went great, but my computer was out of commission until Wed. I had three sessions so proof, a friends wedding slideshow to make and now my computer's motherboard is failing. LOL! Fun stuff. In between all of this I did manage to get 2 sessions proofed and the slideshow done.
I've had some fun playing with my new camera and I'll post a few of those pictures today.
On the family front, things are good. Belle is actually standing! Well, for about 10 seconds anyways, lol. I think she has the balance to stand longer, but she is too cautious and sits down when she realizes what she's doing. Little goober.
We're gearing up for school with the boys(did I actually type that? Where did the summer go!), getting lists together to go shopping. I tell ya, school gets pretty darn expensive with supplies, book fees, lunch money and school clothes!
I'm still trying to get used to the idea that my little Christian will be going to school this year. Wahhh! Sarah was mentioning yesterday how little he still is and it's true. He just turned 5 and compared to how big Garrett was last year at almost 6 he just seems so small. Part of me wants to keep him here with me, but I know he's more then ready for Kindergarten. He is so excited...they both are, lol!
So, anyways, here are the pictures. I have a lot so I may update with more later today if I have time.

Sad Day...
I found out this week that I got a spot and was going to Audrey Woulard's Workshop this October! OMG, if you know about Audrey, then you know what a privilege it is to go to her workshop.
Well, yesterday tradegy struck and my camera broke. It was all my fault and I feel really rotten about it. I left it on my bed after snapping some shots before we left to run some errands. Thought I closed the door to my bedroom, but I guess I didn't. I ran upstairs to get Belle's shoes and on the way down I heard a loud THUNK! Yup, Belle had pulled my camera off the bed onto my hardwood floor. :( Thankfully it didn't hit her head. My lens was trash and the camera needs serviced. And I have sessions coming up next week. So I had to buy a new camera which mean't not enough money for the workshop. I am so upset about not going to the workshop, but I guess I learned a hard lesson about leaving my camera out. Giving up my spot at that workshop is going to be sooo hard. BLAH! Stupid me!

My little faerie without wings...
So...I have decided to be true to what I like with my photography. I know I am starting to develop a style, but I guess I've been tempted make my images look like "everyone" elses. Whomever "everyone" is. And this is where my funk came from...trying to be like everyone. So I say screw that, lol!
I want to take pictures that make my heart skip a beat, ones that make me feel excited about what I do, ones that make me fall in love with my children all over again. I am who I am and my pictures are part of me.
Having said all of that, here are a couple of my little Bella faerie...by me.
PS...These look wayyy better if you click on them ;)

Garrett finally let me take some pictures!
He finally agreed to let me take some pictures when he saw that there were more of Chris and Belle hanging up then him. Lol! He did such a good job and we had a lot of fun this time! Garrett is a BIG squinter and I really worked to get some with his eyes actually open.
Isn't he a handsome little guy?
I didn't resize these for blogger so they look much better if you click on them for the uncompressed version. :)

Isabella's Garden Party
We had such a fun time with Bella's Garden Party! I am so proud of my little girl, she was the Belle of the Ball, lol. She was happy and giggly and just the little social butterfly. Gosh, I can't believe my baby just turned one, it's so bittersweet. Seems like just a few days ago I was holding her for the first time and now she's turning into a little toddler. Wahhhh!
So, of course I have lots of pictures to share, though most are snaps. My hubby, sister and I did all of the food and decorations. I just have to say thanks so everyone who helped us get ready for her big bash, I couldn't have done it without you. *smooch*!
