A big little girl

It's so not even close to a great picture, but I love it anyways. It's so her right now. Little Miss Independent just taking off and going wherever she wants. She still such a tiny thing for her age, but she acts so big. Gosh I love her.

Take a minute...

I know I've been running like mad trying to get everything ready for Christmas-just like a lot of you out there. ;) There are cookies to bake, last minute gifts to purchase, parties to attend and prepare for, wrapping to be done...the list goes on and on. It can quickly become overwhelming, I know!

We have 3 little ones, so I think it's especially important to make sure we take time to remember what Christmas really means to us as a family. For us it's about a little baby born in a manger a long time ago, it's about the gift God gave us when He sent that little baby. Christmas is about being with the people we love, giving to others and being thankful for the many blessings we have.

It can be tough when everyone is talking about the latest and greatest gift or gadget that you "have to have", but we do our best to keep the focus on the true meaning of Christmas.

In this spirit...I've made a special little slideshow of my one children's favorite Christmas traditions. I hope you enjoy this little glimpse into our little family's special memories.

Our Christmas Tree

And when you're done watching it...take a minute to remember what this season means to you.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone!

Yummy!

Yummy!, originally uploaded by ~LeahP~.

Bella does love her chicken nuggets! Unfortunately, nuggets and hotdogs are about the only even halfway decent food she is loving right now. Well, bananas and apples too.

But really...since she had the stomach flu a couple of weeks ago she has been SO picky. It's sad because she was such a good eater before that. She would try anything. Not anymore. As soon as a new food hits her tongue, she sticks it out and says "blach". Before she can even taste it! Silly little girl, I bet she would like it if she actually TRIED it, lol.

Oh well...we'll keep trying.
