He looks so big here, it's hard to believe Garrett is going to be SEVEN in just a couple more months. What a sweet little guy.

On the homefront...I finally deep cleaned the house! Woohoo! I only have the playroom left. Other then that one room, all the closet are cleaned, summer clothes put up, hardwood floors waxed, old junk donated and tossed. I do have a bunch of stuff I'm going to store for a yard sale next spring, but that will go into the attic. It feels so good to declutter. I'm still working through my computer, though. That's going to take a long time to clean up, lol.

BTW, is anybody in Indianapolis looking for a sweet little kitten to adopt? We have 5 that need to find homes. :-)

She just realized that I had put these pigtails in, lol! Belle is not a fan of having anything in her hair. Yet, if I don't put it up she has hair in her eyes all the time. What's a momma to do?

Tutu and Tights

It's been raining and dreary here for a few days so I decided to brighten things up as much as I could.

So I dressed Bella in her striped tights (which she loves, btw) and we sat on the front porch. She had fun playing with my cell phone and talking to the kittens while I had fun watching and snapping away. Here's one...I'll add more later.

An older picture of Belle's first time on a swing. Look at her sweet little face. I can just feel how much fun she is having, can't you? See her little tiny fingers hanging on as tightly as they can?

I always wonder what it's like being new to the world and experiencing all of the simple things like swinging, walking, jumping, seeing bubbles for the first time. I guess that's part of why I love taking pictures of my kids so much. To experience those special firsts with them again and again.

Meet My Family...

The extended one that is. Yup, we're insane. I have 7 siblings and I love having such a big family. There's never a dull moment and you always have a friend to call when you need someone. My mom is Italian so we tend to be a bit loud, but it's all good. The other night we were all cleaning the kitchen after a party so there were about 7 of us running around the big kitchen talking and laughing. It was funny because it sounded like there were about 5 more conversations going on then there were people. Just to tease our parents who were sitting in the family room next door we all (well, Damian started it) started talking as loud as we could. I think we sounded like a 50 person party out of control, lol!
There's really never a dull moment! :)
