Taking a break to post these

I've been so incredibly busy getting ready for Bella's and Christian's upcoming parties that I haven't had time to post let alone take any pictures.

I thought I would share these from a couple of weeks ago. It's become so hard for me to get any good shots of Garrett. He either gives me this HUGE cheesy grin, a very blank stare or a goofy face. You probably tell that from these since her never gave me eye contact in them. lol, he sees that camera coming and turns into a little goofball.

The joy of a good book...

Belle loves her books right now, especially any that have animals in them. She likes it when we read them to her and make funny animal sounds. I think, though, her favorite part is turning the page. She tends to turn the page when you're only halfway through reading it her. Oh well, patience will come in time. lol

First week of June

I had a fun week. I did Belle's birthday shoot this week and it was so much fun...pictures to come. ;) Thursday my brother and sister came over for dinner. I, of course, used them as guinea pigs to try out a new recipe on and it actually turned out really well. We had perfect weather to eat outside. It was so relaxing to just sit by the firepit, enjoy a good meal and watch the kids play. I snapped a few photos that night that I'll post. Friday I went to garage sales with my mom and sister and we found quite a few cool treasures. Gotta love garage sale treasures!
Last night Damian and I went sailing with my parents and again, the weather was perfect.

Bella in the woods

Sarah, Mom and I visited a beautiful garden that is a PERFECT location to do shoots at and lots of inspiration for my own gardens! The garden are beautiful with lots of little secret areas that beg to be photographed. I got a few of Belle there today, but I'll need to go back again at a better time of day. The sun was harsh and I got some blown spots on Belle, but oh well. I'll try to go in the evening next time.

Trying something different with these

Bella's little steps

Bella isn't walking on her own yet, but she loves holding onto our fingers and trying to toddle around. I love seeing her take those adorable, yet awkward little steps. She gets so excited that her body gets ahead of her legs and she ends up leaning forward trying to get where she wants to go.
